MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

(1510 Sq km) and 350km from Nairobi
Kyule says "Kenya's most famous National reserve, which is surrounded by the famous Maasai people, who have a rich culture and still holding on to their tradition. The reason why I like the Maasai Mara is because of its vest ecosystem, its rich landscape, the open grass lands and bush land. Which is part of the Serengeti, the bush land is associated with the residual hills (Iselbergs), the main attractions are wildlife and bird life with over 60 species of mammals and 350 species of birds. The wildebeest migration is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, their crossing the Mara River makes it even more spectacular and breath taking, during this period the Maasai Mara is full of action making it the right time to visit the National Reserve. The Serengeti National Park bordering the Maasai Mara on the south of the Mara, come the months of mid-July all the way to end of October Maasai Mara is a bee hive of Activity, of both the migrating wildebeest and the tourist who come to see the crossing at the Mara River."
